Jeff Fields

Senior Pastor

It’s certainly an honor to serve as Senior Pastor here at FBJB. Oddly enough, I also served as Youth Pastor many years ago and recently as Discipleship Pastor. I sincerely love our church family! There are many reasons, but the way FBJB loves my wife, Sheri and I in spite of our many imperfections. We have been Serving the Church in Ministry since 1994. We’ve been captured by the magnitude and wonder of Scripture, still a big fan of discipleship, and love to teach. Meeting folks as they walk into Church each week is my favorite thing, and walking beside folks as we do life together in happiness and pain means something. People Matter to God. They matter to me. The constant in my life through all these years has been God’s amazing grace to me and the love of Ms. Sheri. We have been married since 1981 and have 3 grown children and 9 Grandchildren. Being PopPop is definitely a favorite! Well, that, and riding my Harley.

Jeremy Gibson

Worship Pastor

Jeremy Gibson is a Worship Pastor, Singer-Songwriter, and Multi-Instrumentalists. He is passionate about worshiping Christ with his whole life and discipling others to do so as well.

Jeremy has written and self-produced seven albums, establishing a style that is both nostalgic and refreshingly progressive. He has been heavily influenced by not only the music, but the life of Rich Mullins. Through his music, Jeremy, like Mullins, offers an authentic view into the raw, broken areas of his heart in which a desperate desire for Christ is palpable. While his lyrical style ranges from winsome story telling to direct exegesis of scripture, his central aim is to represent Christ well. Many of his songs are written for the purpose of corporate worship with the goal of edifying the church body and discipling church members to adopt a lifestyle of worshipping Christ.

For Jeremy, leading corporate worship is a normal part of life. At the age of thirteen he began leading worship for various events in addition to leading weekly youth group services. He took his first official worship-leading position at eighteen and has continued in this calling to this day. Equipping future generations to lead in Biblical worship is a firm conviction for Jeremy.

Robbie Gray

Student & Discipleship Pastor

It’s a privilege for Robbie to serve our students (as crazy as they are) and to invest in their parents and families. He was born and raised in Kentucky and came to know the Lord through the Baptist Campus Ministry at Western Kentucky University. Robbie was pursing a high school teaching degree, but shortly after his conversion, he felt called to full-time ministry. Robbie had wanted to teach and work with students since a young age, and he is grateful that God provided this context. To better prepare for ministry, after graduating college Robbie earned his Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY where he met his wife Erica. They were married in 2017 and they moved to Jensen Beach and he began serving as Student Pastor on their one year anniversary. Robbie is passionate about teaching the Bible, equipping parents to disciple their kids, and providing opportunities for families to grow together in community. When he is not hanging out with students and their parents, Robbie is probably mowing his yard. But when he is not cutting grass, Robbie enjoys movies, Nascar and Kentucky basketball, good food, medium-length walks on the beach, and making Erica laugh.

Dana Woodcock

Children's Ministry Director

For as long as she can remember, Dana has always wanted to work with children. She passionately believes that investing in today’s children impacts and improves everyone’s future. Before being called to teaching, she considered careers as a counselor, pediatrician, and even educational psychologist. After obtaining her degree from the University of Florida (Gooooooo, Gators!), Dana invested many years in the public school system as a devoted educator.

Always searching for better ways to equip the body, she is currently seeking a Master’s degree in Family Ministry from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, her hometown. Dana firmly believes that family is God’s Plan “A” to disciple children (Deu 6:6-7). As the parents of four boys, Jarrald and Dana, realize the obstacles caregivers face preparing children to advance God’s kingdom while withstanding the daily attacks from cultural decay. Therefore, she is committed to providing support resources to complement home discipleship that empowers parents.

“Open door, open heart” truly describes Dana’s attitude in ministry. She would love to get to know you better, lend and ear, say a prayer, or celebrate a win with you over coffee anytime!

Jerry Smith

Church Plant Pastor

A native Floridian, raised in Martin County, Jerry met the Lord in 1996 when an 18 year-old girl named Cissy Simpson (now known as Cissy Smith 😊) shared the gospel with him on their 3rd date.

Since his conversion, Jerry has had a strong desire for personal soul winning, discipleship, church planting and international mission work.  Over the years, The Lord refined these desires and called Jerry into full time ministry.  His heart is to identify, encourage, train and deploy great commission minded believers into our communities to reach the Treasure Coast of Florida and beyond with the Gospel of Christ.

Jerry is a graduate of Liberty University where he received his B.S. in Religion/Biblical Studies.  He lives in Port St. Lucie with his wife Cissy and their 4 children.
