Courageous

 

Many of you experienced the powerful effect of the movie Courageous. As a church, we believe this movie along with accompanying small group Bible studies has the potential to make a big impact in our church and in our community. Beginning on Wednesday, January 11th we will begin the 4- week study Courageous Living. This study is primarily meant to get men and women talking about the key issues of living a Courageous life; Family, Priorities, Legacy and Faith. Then, on Friday and Saturday February 3rd and 4th at 6:30 PM we will show the movie Courageous in our auditorium. Beginning the following Wednesday, February 8th, we will kick off the 8-week series Honor Begins At Home. This study will help us take a deeper look into significant issues raised in the movie, including: Parenting Roles & Responsibilities, Integrity, and Mentoring & Discipling your children.

Please:

1) Plan to participate in both the before and after small groups @ 7PM on Wednesday nights.

2) Come with your family to enjoy the showing of Courageous on February 3rd or 4th.

3) Discuss the issues raised in the movie at home and determine how you will apply what you learn.

4) Invite your friends and co-workers to participate.

5) Consider leading a small group for either the 4-week series or the 8- week series.
